Northwest Women's Collegiate Basketball Official's Hall of Fame

A committee of officials has been formed to establish, select, and maintain a Hall of Fame for retired women's collegiate officials.

This committee will select retired individuals who were leaders in the progression of women's collegiate basketball officiating. These polyester-wearing, pioneers of the hardwood have paved the way for so many officials who are on the court today. Their efforts and dedication to basketball officiating will be recognized, honored and appreciated through the founding of this organization.

The committee is currently accepting nominations for the 2009 induction, nominations are due by March 15th. Please see the Hall of Fame criteria and the complete the Nomination Form.

The founding committee members are:

  • Lea Bush, Portland, Oregon
  • Stacy Brodzik, Seattle, WA
  • Katie Gray, Seattle, WA
  • Julie Mitchell, Seattle, WA
  • Karen Riba, Post Falls, ID

The committee's chairperson is Ken Waite of Aberdeen, WA.
